That more than possibly sounds like him jamming. Initially I soent a good few years unable to distinguish album from live track when I saw them live (read between the lines, there) but now I'm older I love listening in to what he does with the 8-track, 16-track, 128-track recordings (I exaggerate. But only just). He has incredible skills to mix and mess things around on the night. All you gotta do is listen to their myriad versions of the 'same' track, many available on remastered re-releases or here on Utube, to know he can turn one layer of a track into another with neither a here nor there.

Their 2023 Coachella performance on weekend 2 was aurally underwhelming for their set. Lacking bass and speakers kept going out. Real shame because I love them but it's the only performance I ever thought was a meh experience but it wasn't even their fault. Audio sucked for Prydz, too. I was there in 2011 and missed their set because we watched Sasha do his VRtek live performance and I wish I could've done both but don't regret it! That was the last time Sasha ever did one of those!
